According to the HRA Council, total ICHRA-covered lives grew by 50% last year. Also, because there still appears to be an appetite to codify the rule into law, the potential for ICHRA to meaningfully disrupt a portion of the 165 million employer-sponsored insurance space seems much more likely than not.

This new report examines two of the three stakeholders who will ultimately decide the trajectory of ICHRA in the near term: the employers who are looking to untangle health insurance from employment and the brokers who will (or will not) facilitate that transition.
