In this first-of-its-kind research, we’ve surveyed more than 320 final expense agents and agency/FMO owners to answer one basic question: “Although final expense agents have multiple carriers they could write for, why do they choose the few they do?”
Our study offers data-driven answers that:
- Examine how final expense agents are crossing over to sell other Life products and Medicare.
- Explore how the total number of products agents sell outside of Final Expense impacts the total FE productivity.
- Identify 17 attributes of the carrier-to-agent relationship and pinpoint which services matter most in carrier selection.
- Drill down into the top four carriers that agents work with, examine the “why” behind their choices, and explore how their reasons vary from carrier to carrier.
- Provide a rank order of 13 Final Expense carriers based on whether they are “easy to work with.”
