Overview
Our Conjoint suite of services allows product managers to test consumer preferences for plan design options well before bids are due, ensuring premium dollars are allocated against the benefit levels consumers actually want.
With the market expected to flip meaningfully from the 93% rate of federally subsidized ACA consumers to some percentage much lower, it’s vital for carriers to understand the premium-based tradeoffs that under-65 beneficiaries will make in the subsidized/on-exchange market.
On the other hand, ICHRA’s choice and flexibility is growing the non-subsidized/off-exchange market at a rate of 50% a year. As carriers grow their off-exchange products and build out networks and benefits to attract this new consumer segment, understanding the premium-based tradeoffs these higher socioeconomic consumers consider is critical.
For this study, we developed two conjoint models from two separate surveys to help you with your on-exchange or off-exchange design needs, or both. Plus, purchasers receive access to an online product simulation tool that allows them to test a myriad of plan design changes so they can size their designs to match their target consumers’ sensibilities.
